Drawdown types, explained

Static

The loss floor is fixed from your starting balance and never moves. Most forgiving.

End-of-day (EOD) trailing

The floor moves up only at the daily close, based on closing balance. Intraday spikes don't raise it.

Intraday / real-time trailing

The floor follows your highest equity in real time, including open profit. Strictest — giving back open profit can breach you.
